Please use the questions and answers below to help you pay your bill by mail.
- Where should I mail my payment?
-
You receive a return payment envelope with your paper bill. If you lose the envelope, please see the Where to Mail Your Payment by State.

-
- When do I need to mail my payment to make sure it reaches American Family Insurance before the due date?
-
We recommend mailing your payment at least five to seven days prior to the due date. Be sure to include your billing account or policy number on the check or money order so we know where to apply the payment.
-
- How do I change my mailing address?
-
On the payment stub, there is a spot to indicate mailing address changes. You can also contact your American Family Insurance agent for assistance in changing your address.
-
- What should I do if I lose my bill?
-
Contact your American Family Insurance agent. He/she can tell you your payment amount and due date and even print out a duplicate copy of your bill.
-
Please note a monthly Administration Fee is charged whenever paying less than the full payment and may vary by state. However, this fee is waived when paying your bill using Automated Funds Transfer (AFT) or Online Billing. A service fee is not charged to pay your bill over the phone or online.
