- How do I edit my personal and contact information?

To change your personal and contact information, go to the Profile page by clicking “Profile” in the yellow navigation bar at the top of the page. Click “Edit” to edit a section, or “Change Password” to change your current password. You will be able to update your old information. When finished, click “Submit.”
IMPORTANT: Please remember that the information you provide in My Account is only used in conjunction with your online account. If you've recently changed your name, address, phone number or other personal information, it is very important that you contact your agent. All information related to your policies will stay the same until you contact your agent.
Also remember it is extremely important that your email address is accurate and up to date at all times. If it is incorrect and we cannot contact you, we may need to deactivate your online account.

- How do I edit my security questions?

You can view and update your security questions in the Profile section of My Account. From your My Account Overview, click “Profile” in the yellow navigation bar.

- What if my email has changed and I forgot to update it?

If you are registered in Online Billing, it is very important to keep your email address up-to-date. If you don't, your emails will probably be returned to American Family Insurance as undeliverable. When that happens, we will attempt to resend the email once on each of the next two days. If the email is not delivered after these additional attempts, we will not make any additional delivery attempts. However, you are still responsible for paying the minimum amount due on your account. Payments must be received by the specified due date to prevent any interruption in coverage.
If you do not receive regular monthly emails from American Family, we suggest that you log in to My Account to check the status of your account. Please verify that your email address is correct on the Profile page.

- How do I change my password or user ID?

To change your password, go to the Profile section and click “Change Password.”
At this time, you are not able to change your user ID.
