Paying for your insurance policies is fast and easy with Pay Now. There's no need to sign up or log in. Just click below to pay your bill directly from your personal checking, savings or debit/credit card account.

For your protection, we do not store your financial information for future use.

Pay Now can be used for personal, business and farm & ranch policies. It is not available for paying life policies.

What information do I need to make a payment using Pay Now?

You will need the following information:

• Billing account number.
• The ZIP code shown in the mailing address on your last bill. NOTE: Pay Now may not accept certain ZIP codes. If your ZIP code is not five digits, contains letters or is from outside the U.S., please call 1-866-424-8002 and press "0" to make your payment by phone with a live representative. You can also register for My Account to make a payment through Online Billing.

What forms of payment does Pay Now accept?

Pay Now accepts:

• Personal and business checking or savings accounts. You will need the account number and financial institution’s nine-digit routing number (see examples below).
• MasterCard or Visa debit/credit cards. You will need the 16-digit card number and expiration date.

When will my payments be reflected?

In most cases, payments will be reflected in your minimum amount due and account balance within one business day. Around holidays, please allow up to three business days for payments to be reflected.

Will I receive a confirmation number after I make a payment?

Yes. A confirmation page will be displayed with a confirmation number once your payment is made. If you provide a valid email address, an email will be sent to you with the confirmation number as well.

Do I have to provide an email address?

No. This field is optional. However, we can’t send a confirmation email unless a valid email address is provided.

Why am I not receiving emails from American Family Insurance

Emails are only sent to confirm Pay Now payments to customers who provide an email address. If you would like to receive a confirmation email, enter your email address into the designated fields on the "Enter Payment" screen while making your payment.

To make sure our emails are not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" email folders, please add the following email address to your address book: American_Family_Web@amfam.com.

If you are still unable to receive our emails, please contact your email service provider for additional assistance.

Once you have confirmed that you’re able to receive emails from American Family, please contact our billing department to have previously missing emails resent.

Will I still receive paper bills?

Yes. A paper bill will still be mailed to you. If you prefer to receive your bill electronically, sign up for My Account and register to receive and pay your bills through our Online Billing system.
