Chicago (July 28, 2011) — Victor Gonzalez, the first Puerto Rican driver to compete on the NASCAR circuit, will appear with his car during the Hispanic Business Expo at the American Family Insurance booth (#619).
The Hispanic Business Expo will take place at Navy Pier in downtown Chicago on Thursday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Attendees visiting American Family's booth can speak to representatives from American Family and see a demonstration of the company's Business Accelerator Program.
The Business Accelerator Program is a no-cost service that assists small businesses by providing expert coaching they might otherwise be unable to afford. American Family partners with nationally recognized experts who provide tools and strategies like webinars, symposiums and online coaching to assist business owners in areas such as marketing, sales, finance and growth. More than 2,400 small businesses have signed up and are currently using this program.

Victor Gonzalez is a native of Trujillo, Puerto Rico. Against long odds, he came to the United States in 1996 to fulfill his dream of representing his country on the NASCAR circuit. He is the first driver from Puerto Rico to compete in NASCAR. Gonzalez has since garnered more than 30 wins in his career.
Gonzalez and his car will be available for photos and autographs at the American Family booth, and visitors can sign up for a chance to win an iPad 2.
