Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption Coverage

Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions can be devastating, causing significant destruction in seconds. Are you properly covered?

To help you prepare, American Family's Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption Endorsement is available to all homeowner customers in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah and Wisconsin.

For Georgia and Washington homeowners customers, there is a separate Earthquake Endorsement, which does not include coverage for volcanic eruptions. Georgia and Washington customers have some coverage for volcanic eruption included in their homeowners policies.

The endorsements cover:

• Dwelling
• Garage and other detached structures
• Fence, driveway, sidewalk and other permanently installed yard fixtures
• Construction materials on your premises for use in your home
• Personal property

For American Family condo insurance policies, the endorsements cover:

• Condominium unit (per condominium association rules)
• Permanently installed fixtures and appliances
• Personal property

For American Family renters insurance policies, the endorsements cover:

• Personal property
• Building additions and alterations made at your expense
