I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Scott since 1982. We have three children. Adam and his wife, Michelle, live in Iowa Falls with our adorable granddaughter, Cambry. Chad and his wife, Stephanie, live in Arizona. And our daughter, Megan, lives in Nebraska.

I began my career in the banking world. They are the ones who encouraged me to get my insurance license. After sixteen years in the banking industry, I decided I would like to try owning my own agency. I had heard of an American Family agent who was retiring in Eldora, Iowa. After a few meetings with him I knew this was going to be a great fit for me.

I love to craft! Quilting, scrapbooking and making cards are a few of my favorites. I like to read and travel with Scott on his motorcycle.

I have made All American twenty-four consecutive years. I’ve been a Premier leader six times. I’ve gotten AFLIC awards twenty consecutive years. I have been in the Hall of Fame and have had my Championship ring since 2010.
