KELLIAN KIRON: Hi, friends. I'm Kellian Kiron, the owner of The Barre Code Madison. When I first opened my business, it was definitely very challenging. I really focused on these three things to help me get through.
On screen:#1GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
KELLIAN KIRON: Get out of your comfort zone and try something new. When I first made the decision to start my own business, I had to quit my full-time, well-paying, corporate job. It came with a lot of challenges and a lot of lessons learned.

KELLIAN KIRON: If you want to make the next steps, you can start small by signing up for a class.
On screen:GO TO NETWORKING EVENTS
KELLIAN KIRON: Go into a networking event and meet people within the industry that you're interested in. Take the steps that push you out of your comfort zone and bring you to what it is that you want to do.
On screen:#2 TAKE YOUR PAST EXPERIENCES WITH YOU
KELLIAN KIRON:Take your past experiences with you. I had so many jobs and positions before I made the decision to become my own boss, and the skills and tools I learned and performed in each one of them, I apply to my business every day. Even though you may not be in your favorite job now, the things you are doing today will help you be a better business owner in the future.
On screen:#3 DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP
KELLIAN KIRON:Don't be afraid to ask for help. Something that I learned pretty quickly is that you can't do everything on your own.
On screen:MEET WITH OTHER BUSINESS OWNERS
KELLIAN KIRON:Reaching out to local business owners, partnering with them, collaborating with them, or even just meeting them for a cup of coffee has set me up to be a stronger business owner myself.
