American Family utilizes one-time text messaging to allow our customers to initiate a loss reporting chat session. This service will not enroll you in any recurring text message program or mailing list.
You initiate the SMS communication and American Family responds with an automated message containing an URL link to initiate the Chat session within a secure web page. By initiating the text communication with American Family, you are providing consent to receive the one time text message back from us. All you have to do is text the keyword HAIL to (XXXXX) and you’ll receive the link to the secure web page to begin the chat session.
Once the link is provided, no further communication would be sent to you via text unless it is re-initiated by you.
Texting HELP to (XXXXX) will provide customers automated HELP text.
Texting STOP to (XXXXX) will result in no further text communications related to this service from American Family.
This service is intended for use by American Family policyholders. Once you enter the chat session, you will be verified using questions requesting policy and/or personal information, and once verified the claim submission process will proceed.
If at any time you exit the chat session prior to claim submission, all information you have entered will be lost and not saved. You can utilize the link previously provided to begin the verification process again.
