I have been an insurance professional for 20+ years. Initially, I went to school for journalism and got into insurance as a decent "gig" to support myself while going through school. However, I quickly discovered that I enjoyed helping people and was adept at advising and promoting financial security, as a trusted fiduciary. I still do!
