Cathy has been with American Family Insurance since 2014. She decided to start her career in the insurance industry because of her love for customer service. Cathy’s favorite part of working with our clients is during Insurance Reviews when she can explain to clients how their policy will work for them when it counts. Cathy lives in Crystal Lake, IA with her husband Joe and their children.

Cathy began her insurance career as an Agent in Training. She then became the Agency Owner with American Family Insurance in Grinnell, IA. After a short time, the opportunity to move back home and become the Agency Owner in Forest City and Garner became available and Cathy jumped at the chance to serve the communities she grew up in and has called home nearly all her life.

Spending time with her children and family is Cathy's favorite and volunteering is a close second. Spending time outside fishing, gardening or working on DIY projects take up the rest of Cathy's spare time.
