Chris moved from Washington to Lawrence to pursue his doctorate at the University of Kansas. He hopes to be finishing his PhD in Molecular Anthropology this coming year. Beyond work and research, you can find Chris out with friends, looking for places to hike, movies to watch, or new videogames to play.

Melissa has been with American Family for several years. First, as an Auto Adjuster in claims and now as a Customer Service Representative in the agency. She enjoys helping insureds when they are working through their claims. Melissa & her husband Jason have 3 children. Most of their time is spent watching swim meets, volleyball tournaments, theater productions and baseball. They also enjoy traveling with their family to warm and sunny locations.

Vanna joined #KansasDreamTeam in May of 2021. Originally from Wellington, Kansas she moved to Lawrence and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in biological anthropology at the University of Kansas. When she is not in school, she enjoys applying her anthropological know-how to provide understanding and meaningful customer service to the diverse array of clientele at our office. In her free time, Vanna can be found exploring Lawrence with her boyfriend, Kyle.

Talena joined Kansas Dream Team at the end of 2021 when she and her family moved to Kansas. She grew up south of Topeka and has lived in several states over the last 18 years, most recently Texas, but was excited at the opportunity to move her family back to her home state. When Talena isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids & their many pets. She also loves cooking (especially on her Big Green Egg) & crafting.
