I'm a life long Kansan, having grown up in KCK and graduating from J.C. Harmon High School. I then went to K-State where I got my degree in criminology. I worked in the KC metro area before moving to Wichita in 1999. I married the love of my life, Heather, in 2000 and we have 3 amazing children: Andrew, Caroline, and Eric.

It's been a bit of a winding road to being an agency owner! After graduating from K-State with a degree in criminology, I worked for Jackson County MO as an investigator. In 1999, I moved to Wichita to be a private investigator. Eventually, I ended up on the sales side for a life insurance company before opening my agency with American Family Insurance in April of 2002.

I definitely enjoy the "work hard, play hard" aspect of business ownership. When I'm not helping my clients with their home, auto, or life insurance, I like to spend time fishing, traveling, playing poker, and occasionally squeezing in that rare round of golf. I'm also an avid Chiefs and Wildcats fan and I've properly indoctrinated my wife and kids as well!
