I grew up in Bloomington and love the state of Minnesota! I enjoy working in insurance because it gives me the opportunity to help families protect their dreams. It also allows me to be on the front lines during the unfortunate times when disaster strikes. It's a honor and privilege to be their trusted partner, both in the good times as well as the difficult times.

I've spent over 17 years in the insurance industry and have built the Nick Atkinson and Associates Agency from the ground up. My strengths include leadership, training, and having an exceptional “can do” attitude. I consistently go the extra mile for my customers and for the community, which is reflected in my year over year Outstanding Customer Experience awards. It's not uncommon to find me on a customer's roof after a storm or helping a customer cut up a tree that's fallen in their yard.

While not busy working, I can be found with my family. My wife and I live in Shakopee with our young children, Annika and Atlee. We also have 3 dogs named Tucker, Tora, and Cowboy. I enjoy deer hunting in the fall. I love classic cars and collecting antique car parts and signs. I'm a big Minnesota Wild Fan!
