I grew up in Sweet Springs, MO & started school there and then finished my schooling at Northwest High School playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. I earned my Associates Degree from State Fair Community College in Sedalia. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Sports Management & Business Administration at William Woods University in Fulton. I also earned my Masters Degree in Education in Athletic Administration from William Woods University in Columbia. My Dad is an American Family Insurance Agent and has been for 35+ years, so I grew up around the business. After graduate school, I started my professional career in Columbia & Jefferson City, while living in Ashland, and worked for American Family with a mentor agent in Jeff City. A year later an opportunity arose to have my own American Family Agency at the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, which we opened in 2012. A virtual agency opportunity arose for Boone County serving the Ashland and Columbia communities, which we now serve online and by appointment. I'm in Columbia and Ashland throughout the week, while currently residing in Osage Beach at the Lake of the Ozarks with my wife Bethany, who is a Master Sign Language Interpreter, with our five children.
