I was raised in Roseau, MN with 3 sisters. In 1985 I married Stephanie Rykken and the last 37 years have been busy raising 4 kids! We now have two sons in law, and one daughter in law, as well as seven grandchildren and one on the way! In my spare time I love deer hunting with my sons and daughter in law, and going fishing on Lake of the Woods, and spending time with all of our kids and grandkids!

I attended college at Moorhead State University and graduated in 1984 with a BS Degree in Business Administration.
