I have been married for over 20 years. My wife and I have 3 children, two boys and a girl. I grew up with insurance, as my father was in the business for over 30 years. I have a B.S. degree in Finance.

My career with American Family Insurance began in 1990. Prior to becoming an agent in 1996, I was a Casualty Claims adjuster for 3 years, and then a Commercial Lines Underwriter for another 3 years. In 1996, I opened a small agency in Waunakee, WI. In 2000, accepted an opportunity to take over a larger existing agency in McFarland. In 2010, I accepted another opportunity to move to my current location in Middleton. My family and I love Middleton. My intent is to remain here for the remainder of my career. In 1994, I earned the Chartered Life Underwriters-CLU designation from The American College. In 1995, I earned the Chartered Financial Consultant-ChFC designation from The American College.

My wife and I enjoy following our 3 children, as they pursue their interests. Between the three of them, they participate in hockey, gymnastics, lacrosse, football, baseball and track. We enjoy traveling when time permits.
