From an early age I've always enjoyed community involvement, helping people, and seeing smiles, that's why I love this industry. I was raised in the insurance industry with a mom who was an agent alongside Carlos for 15 years. Being in an insurance office for a good portion of my childhood always sparked my curiosity for the business. I’m also a licensed Realtor in the state of Iowa.

I began working at The Carlos Capdevila Agency in December of 2022. I am loving this new adventure and learning so many new things, gaining experience and knowledge to help further my career in insurance sales and services. I value our customers and enjoy building relationships to ensure the best possible experience for them. Prior to my career change, I was a special education paraprofessional working with middle school students for 19 years. I assisted with social/emotional needs and development, core curriculum, and time management/organizational skills. I made strong connections with so many young people and amazing staff during those years. I began my career with American Family in 2010 as a customer service specialist in Fort Madison, IA. Became a the American Family Agent there for 10 years. In 2023, I started to work with The Carlos Capdevila Agency. assessing client needs, advising customers on insurance coverage options, and specializing in insurance claims.

Serving my community and helping others has always been important to me as a business professional. I started my career in the finance industry, with experience in personal, commercial, and wealth management banking. After 7 years in that role, I pivoted to the world insurance as a personal lines and life insurance specialist. I’m a strong advocate for the clients I represent and understand that people are diverse, with their own life stories and dreams to fulfill. Insurance can be overwhelming, which is why I focus on modeling our products to fit the unique needs of everyone I encounter in a simplified, transparent and down-to-earth style.
