DreamBank Closed

The health and well-being of our guests and dreamers are of utmost importance to us, so in an effort to do our part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made the decision to close DreamBank — through at least May 31. This means all events and room reservations are canceled, and the entire space will be closed.

In the meantime, be sure to look at our Facebook page for live events that you can stream right to your phone or device. We hope you all stay happy, healthy, and safe during this time and we look forward to opening our doors to our Community of Dreamers again soon!

May 28 2020, 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM Facebook Event: DREAM BIG: Artist’s Talk with Jenie Gao

We are living in an unprecedented time, and it’s common during a crisis for people to forego the arts. And yet. Even amidst great uncertainty, a landmark, a flag ora familiar image can cue us to return to our humanity. Art represents the cultural ethos of our time, the glue between people, the bonfire of our ideas and the embrace between our ancestors and our successors. With many places currently closed, could this be our local, cultural renaissance?
This Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, join us for a virtual studio visit with artist Jenie Gao. Jenie is a full-time artist and a first-generation Taiwanese-Chinese-American. She will share insights into her practice, what she’s working on during the shutdown and what she envisions could come after this.
